PHL developments provide purpose-built, self-contained homes for older people with care needs.  This is known as Extra Care Housing.  We create “homes for life”, where residents are supported to live independently and within a community which aids their overall health and wellbeing through access to 24/7 care, support services and communal facilities and activities.

Modern, high-quality homes with one and two bedrooms are in well-connected locations, helping to address the chronic shortage and poor quality of current affordable housing stock.

Our homes are designed to meet design principles by the Housing our Ageing Population Panel for Innovation (HAPPI), and include smart home and assistive technology.

They are also 100% gas free and feature gardens, parking, and shared facilities such as a community café. We target BREEAM ‘Excellent’ accreditation.
